April was a split monthly review rather than a single-theater month. Lebanon was the clearest monthly anchor because it published in W14, W15, and W17 and remained inside the watch layer across the month.
The second half of the month shifted toward political violence. Mali became the clearest late-month case, while Nigeria, Colombia, Pakistan, and Chad widened the violence-led portion of the monthly review.
